This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, dispatched and delivered within the Republic of South Africa. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Shipping Areas
We currently deliver within South Africa. If you require delivery outside of South Africa, please contact us before placing your order.
2. Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- Orders are typically processed within 1–2 working days after payment confirmation.
- During peak periods or promotions, processing times may be slightly longer.
3. Delivery Timeframes
- Major metropolitan areas: approximately 1–3 working days after dispatch.
- Outlying or regional areas: approximately 2–5 working days after dispatch.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to courier schedules, weather conditions, or other factors outside our control.
4. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and depend on your delivery location and selected shipping method.
Any free shipping promotions will be clearly indicated on the Website and may be subject to minimum order values.
5. Discreet Packaging
All orders are packaged discreetly. External packaging will not indicate the nature of the contents. Your privacy and confidentiality are important to us.
6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS (where applicable). You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your delivery.
7. Delivery Requirements
- A physical street address is required for courier delivery.
- Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the parcel.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details provided at checkout.
8. Risk & Ownership
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the address provided, in accordance with applicable South African law.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please notify the courier immediately and contact us within 24 hours.
9. Failed Deliveries & Returns to Sender
If a delivery attempt fails due to incorrect address details, non-collection, or repeated absence, the parcel may be returned to us.
- Additional shipping charges for re-dispatch may apply.
- Refunds for returned parcels will exclude original shipping costs.
10. Delays Beyond Our Control
While we aim to deliver within the estimated timeframes, Playroom SA is not liable for delays caused by:
- Courier disruptions
- Load shedding or system outages
- Severe weather conditions
- Industrial action or force majeure events
11. Collection (If Applicable)
If collection is offered as an option, you will be notified when your order is ready. Collection times and location details will be communicated via email or telephone.
